Vienna, 3 January 2019 - The Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Yury Fedotov and Chief of Research and Trend Analysis Branch, Angela Me will brief the Permanent Missions on the main findings of the Global Report on Trafficking in Persons 2018 on Monday, 7 January 2019 at 10.00 a.m. at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) in Conference Room C3. The event will include an address by the Austrian Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs, Karin Kneissl. The Global Report on Trafficking in Persons 2018 gives an overview of the scope of human trafficking and its effects on the lives of the victims of this heinous crime with a special focus on trafficking in persons in the context of armed conflict.
